Windows 10 Redstone 2 Preview Now Available

windows10Redstone 2 the Windows 10 update preview is now available for PC testers on the fast ring. The build number of the preview is 14901. Just as Microsoft did with Redstone 1 the first few previews of this update will also be about only core level work and not any fancy features and capabilities. The only new feature that one can observe is in the file explorer in the new Redstone preview as of now.

 

Dona Sarkar, the Windows Insider Chief said even today’s build has a problem with the Adobe Acrobat Reader and support for kernel debugging has been removed in a blog post. The post also mentioned that the company has not yet released the RTM version of Windows 10 mobile Anniversary update for its users. But the team is ready to deliver the RTM version Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary for the compatible phones.

 

The PC testers will start getting the Windows 10 Redstone 2 update a little earlier than the build for Windows 10 mobile users start rolling out responded Microsoft officials earlier this week. The officials also approved the Redstone 2 feature upgrade will be released sometime in the year 2017 alongside the Redstone 3 later that year.
