1it enterpriseThe Web Development framework Ruby on Rails’ that has been around for more than 12 years has dumped the very popular jQuery JavaScript library by the builders from the default Rails stack in thekindness of a Ruby gem using vanilla JavaScript. Hence, jQuery is not a Rails addiction any longer. The gem, rails-ujs, was created by developer Dangyi Liu as part of the Google Summer of Code event. jQuery is not as critical for Rails as it used to be said Rails founder David Heinemeier Hansson. He said JQuerywas used to overlay over alterations in browsers that no longer exist to anywhere near the same degree anymore.Rails-ujs just uses fixed JavaScript for built-in features in Rails we have that rely on JavaScript.

A pull request has been filed in GitHub to remove jquery-rails from new applications and provide rails-ujs through Action View.Handling such tasks as HTML, event handling, and document transversal jQuery has been a staple of the Web for years.
