panasonic-teslaThe partnership of Panasonic and Tesla might help the car manufacturer based in the United States to fast track their determined strategy for the solar powered systems for charging electric cars and smart homes. Panasonic might use something like a SolarCity factory in RiverBend, New York for manufacturing up to 10,000 solar panels in a day mentioned both the companies in a day. Tesla will purchase the panels for use on houses as part of the agreement, which is reliant on its procurement of SolarCity. The work between the two companies will be extended by the partnership to initiate with Nevada-based Giga factory of Panasonic. The multi-billion-dollar workshop is a gigantic manufacturing facility for lithium-ion batteries used in Tesla’s electric cars.

Energy from the solar panels rather than being sold to the power company will be transferred to the storage batteries in each house. The batteries could charge the tesla cars each night and eradicate the reliance on the power grid when combined with the power grid. However, the battery acceptance remains a subtle goal for their high cost. The 6.4 kWh storage battery known as Tesla Powershell designed for the daily usage is already on the to-do list of Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla.
