Samsung hopes it has a new product in hand with the new desktop PC. When it comes to the ArtPC Pulse it appears the Korean Smartphone manufacturing company is inspired by Apple yet again. It’s been a couple of years the Mac Pro hit the market and it also has a cylindrical shape just like the ArtPC Pulse. In addition, not to mention it is similar in appearance to the Pavilion Wave Desktop from HP. The cylindrical shape has also made its way into the internet-connected speakers as well, for instance, Amazon Echo.
ArtPC is more like a performance PC whereas the Wave high-end design into the conventional system. The ArtPC is incorporated with an AMD Radeon RX 460 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD and all this is managed by an Intel Skylake Core i5 processor in its base model. While the high-end version is powered by a Core i7 processor, a terabyte of the hard disk in addition to the SSD and double the RAM capacity.
Samsung has given its PC a more traditional black metal aesthetics with a blue ambient light, while HP designed its PC with the signature wave pattern. The ArtPC is an inch and a half longer in length than the Wave PC and the HDD module for the base model add another inch to it.
