Moto Z was not announced with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, however, it now itis running Nougat. A fix to the notification volume is the only change listed in the update that followed the update. Now the users of Moto G4 and G4 Plus can update their handsets to the latest flavor of the Android OS. G4 and G4 Plus users can go to settings->About Phone->System Update. This process will check for updates. The company recommends the users to connect to the Wi-Fi and charge their phones to at least more than 50 percent. The update, when installed, will improve the battery life of the device. Various features will be available for the users who will install this update according to Motorola’s update note.
The new features will include work mode (Android for work users) and ability to switch quickly between apps by double tapping while in the multi-window mode. The Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are both fresher to the market, having been launched earlier this year, and now they’re finally getting their Nougat update. The update is 733 MB in size and both the G4 and G4 Plus can be updated with this update.
