Alphabet Inc launches YouTube Music Mobile App

blackberry_playbook_tablet_2YouTube Music Mobile App was launched by Alphabet Inc on Wednesday. The launch came less than a month after the company rolled out YouTube Red, a service that supports free advertisement access to all YouTube services for $9.99 per month.

Spotify leads the streaming services market. As of June they have around 20 million paid subscribers. Apple Music, which made its debut in June, has a subscription of 6.5 million.

The users get free service of YouTube app. But by using YouTube Red account the user can access the full range of options.

YouTube Red users can shift data-sapping music videos into audio-only streams. Even while multitasking on devices, the users can listen to audio of all videos. The users are also entitled to download songs to an in-app playlist. This can be performed either online or offline.

The users will be able to see the stations personalized according to artists, songs and genres. This can be done with or without YouTube Red.

The users will be able to view the complete album of an artist. They can also see related videos ranging from live performances to amateur covers.

Another advantage is that the YouTube artists also get a share of the agreement through a proportion of YouTube Red subscriptions. The details were not revealed by YouTube but they said the greater part of the revenue is paid to partners.
