The company has released the 15.6-inch model nearly two years ago, supersizing the Chromebook and this year it has boosted its battery. The new model that stays true to the budget origin of the Chromebook while accommodating the two features together. At a familiar price of $199, the Chromebook 15 CB3-532-C47C has a large screen and a big battery. With the big battery, the company claims a 12-hour runtime.

Nevertheless, the other specs of the Chromebook are basic such as an Intel Celeron N3060 processor, 16 GB of inbuilt storage and a 2 GB RAM. The display is pretty basic as well with a 1366×768 resolution. The company has claimed a better durability for the Chromebook 15 with 130-pound force sustainability. 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MIMO 2×2 USB 3.0 ports is provided by the company. With still plenty of time to Christmas the company has already started selling the Chromebook 15 at Walmart though the target is for the holiday seasons. Will this over-sized product beat the otherwise compact form factor known for this model? Guess we just have to wait and see if it does.
